If I remember correctly, Joey's mom had been asking us to learn this song for a couple of years, and since we were putting together a new concert we decided to tackle it. As the song evolved, we added the minor chords to the third verse which became one of our favorite parts of the song. The nice thing about "One Day" is that it has the "call and response" with the bass singing and the rest of us either echoing or finishing the phrase. I also enjoy the positive message about the resurrection of Jesus from the grave which gives us eternal hope. - Phillip
